5 Stars great cartridge
We have never had any trouble with HP 56 black ink cartridges. We use them in our old HP PSC 1210 printer, perhaps printing one or two pages per day, and each cartridge lasts about a year. Good job, HP.

5 Stars In the case, the name brand is best
I have tried alternatives to the HP brand for printer ink, but every time I have problems with print quality. Generic cartridges left streaks or did not work at all, and refilling was painfully messy at best.

Now I purchase only the HP brand printer cartridges for my HP printer. I have never had any problems with this style/brand/make of cartridge. Consistently, the ink is delivered crisply, clearly and without inconsistencies to my paper. No smudging, smearing or leaking. The only time there is ever an issue is when the ink gets too low– time to change out the cartridge, obviously.

These cartridges have a very easily identifiable numbering system. Getting the right size and type of ink is easy with HP’s system. I appreciate that, for sure! Also, the cartridges are designed so that they are easy to install– you just remove it from the package, peel off the tape and slide it into place in the printer… Can’t get better than that, right?

5 Stars bigger size than HP 27
In case you wonder, the HP 56 is 19ml compared to the HP 27 which has 10ml. This seems to be the better deal of the two.

It’s so hard to remember when you actually are near an officemax or staples what EXACTLY the number on that cartridge was that you were needing so soon – and to buy the wrong one risks wasting money. Being able to go online, when you’re right near your printer, and get what you need at a great discount AND with free shipping made an exasperating scenario, easy. Very.

I received the ink, and it was fine-However, the package was opened-I am not sure if this was opened by somebody else in my apartment building, or by the carrier, or whoever, but it was still unnerving-I live in a very safe area, so it seems unlikely someone at my place opened it-Also, the inside ink package was crushed….

Amazon it the cheapest I have found ink for my Epson printer. I always order enough to get the free shipping which is the key to getting it at the best price. Always delivered on time and in great shape.

I purchased this a couple of weeks back. The item works as stated and was in great condition. It is the exact same one that I had been purchasing at Wal-Mart, but I saved a few dollars by purchasing it here.

The ink does not smear, which is great. I am bummed that Epson doesn’t have a recycling program for their cartridges, but at least the post office has a program that takes all cartridges and electronics.

3 Stars Fine product, but don’t buy from SourceofInk.com
The Epson Black Ink Cartridge is a fine companion to my Epson Stylus CX4200 printer. I’ve only used genuine Epson ink with this printer, since I’m cautious about keeping the printer in working condition. I placed an order for 3 cartridges from SourceofInk.com, which had a promotion on this item in June 2009 of Buy 3 Get 1 Free. Despite the item description clearly indicating that an Epson T060120 was the product, I received 3 GE-T0601Bk cartridges from MMC, and a random EMPTY, unsealed cartridge by MMC that was an entirely different model. I contacted SourceofInk immediately and they said they never carried the Epson T060120 cartridges (though it is clearly indicated in their posting, and nowhere in the product title or description does it mention they are actually selling a generic version). They agreed to give me a full refund, and did not ask me to return the generic cartridges. I found this to be a shady business practice and have not tried the MMC generic cartridges.

Again however, the Epson black ink works fine, though it runs out quickly (maybe 100-150 sheets).

This product works good and is a good size but others are better. I also bought the RuMe bags and they are better. With no seperate bag to contend with the RuMe bags are more convient and are a better color/pattern. If given Baggu bags I would use them but would not purchace more.

These bags are excellent! This set will get you through most trips to any store. I throw them in my purse and pull them out at the counter. They hold a ton. If you’re a family of four…they should fit all of your groceries, including the huge sized apple juice you need for a busy two year old. All of my friends love them and several have bought their own after seeing mine!

3 Stars A good start for searching for gluten free foods
During the past month, I have been having a lot of stomach issues and between doing research on the web and consulting of my friends and parents it seemed like I have either have developed a wheat allergy or have Celiac disease. After I started watching out for wheat products (and avoiding them), I am feeling much better.

That being said, this book is a good resource to get started to understand what is available and what is not. There are some limitations since this is a printed guide to what’s new in products but gives useful information nonetheless…

There are a few cons that I like to point out on this book…

1) As stated above, the list gets outdated when printed; a online version would be great…

For example, some Chex cereals are now gluten-free (corn, rice) and more are coming…

Users of this manual should also have an acount on the American Celiac Society page and subscribe to food updates (also to check out new food offerings).

2) The listing of store brands seem to be of some large regional stores that are not in certain areas such as Safeway, Publix and Wegmans. Since I live in the west, I shop in Safeway but some areas in the Northeast, Central US and parts of the South do not have these stores; buyers in these areas have to be careful of the generic brands.

When it comes to generic brands buyer beware. For example, I mention Corn and Rice Chex cereals are gluten free. Safeway’s generics are not; they contain Malt which is a wheat-gluten product. So you need to watch for hidden ingredients wheat-gluten products…

3) There should be a page, in the beginning of the book, where they itemize suspect wheat-gluten ingredients such as malt, modified starch, gluten, and others.

4) A quick tutorial of how to read ingredients (now a must) would be nice but there are some good websites that are I found on Google…

Celiac has recently been diagnosed in our family, this book makes grocery shopping and cooking easy. thanks for carrying this book!

1 Star Not a good choice if ONLY Gluten-Free
I bought this book because my toddler is sensitive to gluten. I was hoping this would help. It you are seeking a gluten free guide, this book is not for you. The items listed in the book are dairy free, gluten free, and something else free. My son can have dairy, so I don’t get any items that are gluten free with dairy. Also, food items are listed by type of food, not brand. I wish I could go to KRAFT or NABISCO etc. and see if I find any gluten free items. For some items that can be listed as different types of food, entries were hard to find. I had to look in several different sections to find the appreciate foods. I will look for another book that is more helpful.

This book has made my life SOOOO much less frustrating. I carry it with me at all times in my purse and I literally walk into the grocery store, look up the brands I can have, and go find them…no more label reading! GREAT GREAT book! I recommend it to ANYONE, especially those who have just been diagnosed and need some guidance.
